Fernando Piazza

Fernando Piazza is a Brazilian artist based in Zürich, Switzerland. Trained as an architect and urban planner, he graduated in 2018, a background that continues to inform his artistic practice through a strong sensitivity to composition, materiality, proportion, and spatial relationships.

Working across painting and ceramic sculpture, Piazza explores the emotional and psychological dimensions of the human experience. His practice moves fluidly between abstraction and figuration, using each language as a different way of investigating identity, memory, desire, vulnerability, and transformation.
